ELM Electronics, the inventor and maker of the ELM327 chip closed its doors in mid 2023.

There is no longer a supply of new ELM327 chips. ELM327 compatible scan tools on the market are using knock-offs or clones of the original ELM327 chip, which may or may not be fully ELM327 compatible.

We have a very limited supply of original ELM327 chips of prior versions, that are available below. When they're gone, they're gone!
