The Polaris Slingshot uses an 8 pin diagnostic connector instead of the standard 6 pin flat Marine connector. This adapter allows the MEFI6 Scan to be used with the Polaris Slingshot.
It is not an OBD2 adapter. The slingshot does not use OBD2 communication protocols. It uses a form of J1939 that is common to the Marine inductry.
